The Bedding

What is the fabric quality of tuck bedding?

Our super soft 300 thread count sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers are woven using a proprietary blend of organic cotton and TENCEL™ Lyocell. The Classic Collection features a sateen weave and the Crisp Collection a percale weave. All of our bedding is pre-washed, lightweight and specially designed for year-round use. For more information, head to our Materials page.

How do I launder my tuck bedding?

Warm or cold machine-wash cycle with like colours, and tumble dry on low or hang to dry. We do not recommend the use of bleach as harsh chemicals can impact the durability of natural fibers like cotton and TENCEL.

How do I properly fold a fitted sheet?

Like you, we are only human. After much research we lifted our favourite methods from online tutorial videos from the experts like Marie and Martha. If you find an even better way in your own search, please share the secret with us!

Do you sell flat and fitted sheets separately?

Not yet! But it's something we're looking into.

What is a sateen weave (i.e. the Classic Collection)?

Sateen is the style that our Classic Collection has been woven in. The three-over, one-under thread weave makes it look luxe, as well as smooth and silk-like to the touch.

What is a percale weave (i.e. the Crisp Collection)?

Percale is the style that our Crisp Collection has been woven in.
The one-over, one-under thread weave is what makes for its matte, lived-in, linen-like look and oh-so-breathable feel.

Returns questions

What is tuck's 30 day sleep trial?

Sheet Sets & Duvet Covers

We want you to be happy with your bedding so please go ahead and test it.  We offer a 30 day sleep trial for all single product orders (be it a sheet set or duvet cover). If for whatever reason you’re not happy, email us at hello@tuck.ca within 30 days of purchase receipt to initiate a return.

Please note: Our 30 day sleep trial is not valid for Bed Bundles or multi-product orders.  Refunds on these orders will be issued for all unopened/unused products within 30 days of purchase receipt.

Blankets & Quilts

All blanket or quilt purchases must be unused/unopened with tags within 30 days of purchase receipt.

Gift cards and all collaborations are final sale.

Can I return an item even if I've slept on it?

Yes, of course! Our 30-day sleep trial lets you test our sheets.  Having said that, we can only offer our sleep trial on a single product (like a sheet set or duvet cover).

Bed Bundles and multi-product orders are not eligible for our 30-day sleep trial but can be returned/refunded as long as they have been unused and kept in original packaging.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges at this time.

How do I initiate a return?

Simply email us at hello@tuck.ca and we’ll get you started.

Sustainability

I’ve never heard of TENCEL™ Lyocell, where can I find out more?

Since the textile industry is amongst some of the largest polluters in the world, we naturally decided to take the more environmentally responsible route, and chose to make our bedding with Tencel Lyocell fibers—which are derived from sustainably sourced wood  (primarily eucalyptus). Tencel has gained global recognition for its environmentally responsible closed loop production process which manufactures cellulosic fibers from wood pulp with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact.
