Sleep, wake, repeat. Read all about how our friends optimize their surroundings, unwind, and relax the mind for a good night—every night.
We sat down with Julie Clark, the founder of Province Apothecary to talk about her nightly bedtime rituals.

I don’t function well without a good night’s sleep. I have a 2 year old that wakes up multiple times during the night and I miss having a full night's sleep. Luckily my husband has taken over nights for the last few months, and we can’t wait to sleep through the night one day!
8-9 Hours ideally, realistically 6-7 hours per night
Yes and no, sometimes I dream and remember and other times I don’t have any dreams. Having a kid has really thrown off my dreams I must say. One day I hope to have time to write down and track my dreams.
I have a lot of our products: Rescue balm, Healing eczema balm, the Dual-Action Jade Roller and of course, Sex oil. Plus a white noise machine, journal and gratitude note pad.
I always take care of my skin before bed (Cleanse, tone, face serum, massage and a hydrating product: face balm or moisturizer), brush my teeth, take my vitamins + adaptogens and try to write 5 things I am grateful for from the day.
We have black out curtains, white noise, specific duvets for the different seasons, comfy pjs, ear plugs, snore guards -- all the things you need to make it the comfiest, quietest and darkest place to be!
I take melatonin during the week to help me get a good night sleep and on the weekend I like to make sleep teas and take passion flower tincture to help calm me down before bed.

Avoid children if you like your sleep, joking!! When you wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep, don’t look at your phone, whatever you do.
